Daffodils?

I wandered lonely in a crowd
Amongst the milling masses,
When all at once I spied a cloud,
As dark as black molasses;
Rent with thunder, torrential rain,
To make us suffer eternal pain.

Dance

Shall we smile and dance?
Or shall we frown and lance
The boil that is this place,
To spread the pustulence
Across the world therefrom.
'Tis better to be happy than sad,
Can the world exist while mad?
Doubtful thoughts exude and flow,
Perhaps for the populous to know.
Will you lead or shall I?

Anaesthesia - a world of forgotten dreams

Voice One

Ginnells draped in
torn shreds of dreams,
scattered like confetti
upon the moss ridden walls,
caching into piles as they fall.
The winds will blow to take
them to the nevermore,
where locked in silver chests
they lie, to save prying eyes
from seeing what we fear.

Moment Number Three

A single drop of rain,
Transmuted into mist
By congress with a rock.
Thus each droplet repeats;
Ad Infinitum.
Viral rain is born.

Moment Number Two

Mirrors may show shadows,
That blight your every step.
They are just reflections,
Untrustworthy and false.
Break each one you find,
Free yourself from harm.

.

Moment Number One

May the wind sing in your heart,
The sun shine on your soul,
While your worries fly like dust
Before the storm of existence.
So shall you find peace
In the maelstrom of life.

The Wolf and the BanderCatt

Inspired by The Owl and the Pussycat and some words by the wonderful Gail

The Wolf and the BanderCatt
walked the world
Eager to right it’s wrongs
Evil was found
then driven to ground
Then forward the pair trekked on
Wolf was so gruff but worldly wise
Bandercatt not so sane
Majicks and spells
dwelt in her bag
To deal with the demons she found
If that all failed
she turned to the wolf
And let him tear them to bits.
Each day was a triumph
of good over bad
So they walked to each day
by the light of the moon
and the howl of the night
Waiting to see who,
Would be up for a fight

……To Be Continued

Broken

This world is broken
And so am I.
Take my hand,
Lead me somewhere new.

My mind is broken;
My body is broken,
Ripped apart,
Broken by this world

Time will mend me;
Time will heal;
So take my hand,
Lead me somewhere new.

Clear skies;
Clear minds,
To fuse the broken parts;
To make me whole.

Lead me to the future.
Take me from the past,
Erase my mind,
Save for memories of you.

When the mending's over;
When the past is gone.
Will you be there to
Make us whole again?

Will we dance at the moon?
Will we howl our tears
Into a sandy shore,
To make life complete?
