All I could see

Was something that

I used to be …

Half in shadow.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow I enter the gates of Hell,

I doubt I shall ever return.

Oaths and promises made

Lie broken on the floor.

I am judged to be incomplete,

So must be made anew.

I don’t conform.

I don’t believe.

I question all,

Each and every answer.

I am not fit,

In any sense to teach, reform or aid.

Into Hell I shall go,

To fight,

To live,

To survive.

Redemption

Stripped from it's human case,
A soul stands before Redemption,
River of cleansing. 
Immersion brings knowledge,
Of all that has been
To help what is to come.
Cleansing all the pain,
the torment,
the suffering,
the indecision.
Clarity fills the soul,
The cycle begins again.

Night Reclaims

                                                   

                                        Fears and uncertainty

                                        surround us at night,

                                        unseen,

                                        unbidden,

                                        not close enough to touch

                                        but close enough to sense

                                        If night reclaims our hope,

                                        despair will hold our hands,

                                        lead us to a cage of tears

                                        to view what might have been.
